Curious what people think of Jesus Montero long term? Has he taken a step backwards or is he performing fine considering he is 21 at AAA?

I heard a rumor this morning that Aroldis Chapman wants to play the OF instead of becoming a pitcher for the Reds. Is this true?

If it is then it is a big mistake on his part. He has the potential to become an All-Star pitch. There are not man lefties that can reach 100 MPH on the radar gun as a starter. He most likely would have taken over the 4th or 5th rotation spot by May 1st and been a mainstay of the Cincinnati Reds rotation for years to come.

As a raw athletic OF he will just be one of a number of players that the Reds have in their minor league system. It will be a minimum of 2 years before he reaches the majors. The Reds have to be pissed. They didn't pay him 30 or 60M to sit in the minors for 2 years.

I hope for the Reds sake this isn't true.

Hello! 

With the luxury of having the opportunity to keep ONE, I'm torn between the three... Will you please help?  Any opininion would be great. 
I drafted Longo in the third rd for keeper potential, yet I also scooped up Crawford and Mauer.  Yes, the 3B position is slim and Longo has huge power potential at that slot (I'm also a fan), but Mauer is amazing me everyday with the power at C (the slimest of all positions).  Crawford is as solid of an OF that u can get, although his SBs have dropped dramatically lately (compared to earlier in the season) and Longo goes 0-fer often...  For this reason, I am really considering abondoning the Longo keeper plan and starting a Mauer keeper plan...  Mauer has been making a statement with his career season and he's also still a spring chicken!  Is he a better keep than Longo or Crawford (considering Crawford's back is fine)?

     Do the words mea culpa fit me right about now??
     Man, did I blow this Stephen Strasburg deal or what?? I truly thought the Nationals would blow this thing, given the media reports. Turns out I almost was right...1:17 short of being right. Oh well...
     Glad to hear Mike Rizzo tonight on "Nats Xtra" (on MASN2) saying Strasburg would go either to the instructional league in Florida...or the Arizona Fall League...at some point this year. Personally, the AFL is the best bet. That way, he comes to spring training next year ready to go.
     That's all I need to say, really. Christ, did I blow this???
